Backstage Update on Jeff Jarrett’s CMLL Future Ahead Of CMLL 93rd Anniversary Event

As noted before, Jeff Jarrett is currently scheduled to be making his official in-ring debut for CMLL at this Friday’s 93rd Anniversary event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. Jarrett will be facing off against Blue Panther in a singles match at the event.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that Jarrett is currently very interested and hopeful of becoming a semi-regular performer for CMLL going forward.

Meltzer reported that the idea would be similar to what Johnny TV did when he came down from AEW and ROH to make several appearances for CMLL but on a bigger scale in terms of working a program to build for a big match and things like that.

Chris Bey Broken Neck Injury Update – Bey Underwent Stem Cell Therapy

As noted before, Chris Bey has been out of action for TNA Wrestling since October of 2024 due to a broken neck injury and surgery.

Bey recently provided an update on Twitter stating that he had underwent his first round of stem cell therapy this past Wednesday.
