Rich Swann Advances To Vacant TNA X-Division Title Match at Bound For Glory 2026

Thursday’s taped TNA Impact! show featured one qualifying match for the vacant TNA X-Division Championship.

This match was Rich Swann defeating LJ Cleary.

As a result of his victory, Swann joins KC Navarro, Fabian Aichner, and Cedric Alexander as those who have qualified for the Vacant TNA X-Division Championship Six-Way match at Bound For Glory 2026, which takes place on October 11 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

  • TNA World Championship – Leon Slater vs. Nic Nemeth

Eddie Edwards Issues Challenge To Ricky Sosa for TNA Bound For Glory 2026

Thursday’s taped TNA Impact! show also featured one new potential match for the card of Bound For Glory 2026.

This new potential match is a singles match of Eddie Edwards vs. Ricky Sosa.

This new potential match was setup over recent weeks shows over Ricky Sosa’s bad blood issues with The System. During tonight’s show, Sosa & Elijah defeated The System (Edwards & Cedric Alexander) in a tag team match. Following the match, Edwards attacked Sosa with a chair and laid him out with a Package Piledriver. Edwards then grabbed a microphone and after some words, he challanged Sosa to a match at Bound For Glory to prove he belongs in TNA. Sosa did not give an answer back to being knocked out the whole time Edwards was speaking.

Moose Defeats Frankie Kazarian In Career Threatening Match & Saves His TNA Career

Thursday’s taped TNA Impact! show also featured Moose defeating Frankie Kazarian in a TNA Career Threatening match.

This match featured Moose putting his TNA career on the line and had he lost, he would be forced to retire from TNA Wrestling. Kazarian’s TNA career was not on the line for this match for the stipulation.

Mystery Attackers Of TNA Locker Room Makes Appearance

Thursday’s taped TNA Impact! show also featured two mystery people making an appearance.

In recent weeks shows, several members of the TNA locker room have been attacked backstage by a mystery person or people. Among those who have been attacked included Leon Slater, Ryan Nemeth, Jeff Hardy, Cedric Alexander, and Moose.

During tonight’s show, Matt Hardy was seen laid out backstage as two mystery people walked towards Hardy and briefly stood over him before leaving.

The identities of these two mystery people could potentially be former WWE talents and Wyatt Sicks members Joey Gacy and Dexter Lumis, also known as Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw, following the reports of TNA being interested in bringing in several members of the Wyatt Sicks group.
