CM Punk Advances To Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match at WWE Money In The 2026

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana featured one qualifying match for this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match.

This was defeating CM Punk defeating Gunther and Finn Balor in a Triple Threat match.

As a result of his victory, Punk joins Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Penta as those who have qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match at Money in the Bank 2026.

Lash Legend Advances To Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match at WWE Money In The Bank 2026

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one qualifying match for this year’s Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match.

This was Lash Legend defeating Giulia and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat match.

As a result of her victory, Legend joins Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, and Roxanne Perez as those who have qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match at Money in the Bank 2026, which takes place on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Current Card for Next Week’s Show

WWE announced three new matches for the card of next week’s WWE SmackDown show on October 2 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

Among the notable new matches announced was a singles match of Giulia vs. Blake Monroe.

This is currently advertised as being Monroe’s official main roster in-ring debut for the SmackDown brand following the previous two advertised in-ring debuts that did not end up happening due to Monroe and Giulia’s actions towards each other preventing it.

This new match was setup following Giulia’s loss in a Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier Triple Threat match and Monroe mocking Giulia backstage leading to the two brawling. After WWE officials and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis rushed out to separate the two, Aldis made a match between them for next week show and stated he ensures that their singles match will actually happen this time.
