PAC Passes Away At Age 40

PAC, real name Benjamin Satterley, passed away on Sunday at the age of 40.

Satterley’s passing was first announced by AEW on Twitter.

A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”

Satterley last wrestled in a match against Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at Sunday’s AEW All Out 2026 event in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Satterley’s pro wrestling career spanned from March of 2004 to September of 2026 and was most known for his time with WWE from 2012 to 2018 under the ring names of Adrian Neville and Neville and with AEW from 2019 until his passing under the name of PAC. Satterley also had notable stings in Dragongate and Pro Wrestling Guerilla.

During his time in WWE, Satterley was known for his feuds with Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas, Kevin Owens, and the Wyatt Family on the NXT brand and with Stardust (Cody Rhodes) on the NXT brand. Satterley was a mainstay of WWE’s Cruiserweight division during his final years in the company.

Following his departure from WWE in 2018 after a contract dispute, Satterely returned to Dragongate and worked for the company until his departure for AEW in January of 2019.

During his time in AEW, Satterley was most known for being one of the first signees in company history and his memorable feuds against Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Eddie Kingston, Andrade El Idolo, Orange Cassidy, and Darby Allin. Satterley was also known for his time as a member of the Death Triangle with Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix from 2020 to 2024 and as a member of the Death Riders from 2024 until his passing.

Satterley was also most known for being the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, which was later renamed as the AEW Intercontinental Championship.

Satterley’s notable wrestling career achievements and accolades included being a one-time AEW All-Atlantic Champion, one-time Dragongate Open the Dreamgate Champion, one-time Dragongate Open the Dreamgate Champion, one-time Dragongate Open the Twin Gate Champion, one-time PWG World Tag Team Champion, three-time Dragongate Open the Triangle Gate Champion, two-time AEW World Trios Champion, one-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, one-time WWE NXT Champion, two-time WWE NXT Tag Team Champion, winner of the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship (2013) and AEW All-Atlantic Championship (2022) tournaments, and winner of the AEW Men’s Casino Tag Team Royal (2021).
