AEW Pays Tribute To “PAC” Benjamin Satterley With 10-Bell Salute and AEW Wrestlers Pays Tribute To Satterley

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania featured AEW holding several tributes in memory of the late “PAC” Benjamin Satterley.

This included a ten-bell salute in honor of his memory at the start of the show and several tribute videos throughout the show featuring members of the AEW roster and company reflecting on their memories of Satterley and how much he meant in their lives and in wrestling.

A empty chair that PAC used to sit on during his entrances for his matches with the Death Riders was shown in tribute to him during Jon Moxley’s entrance for his AEW Continental title match against Orange Cassidy.

During the show, Renee Paquette read a statement sent by Satterley’s family paying tribute to him.

Later in the show, Swerve Strickland & The New Level (Kofi & Austin Creed) came out to the ring and placed their AEW World Trios Championships on the mat and placed a PAC towel over it paying respect to PAC’s Trios title reigns with the Death Triangle and Death Riders.

During the singles match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet, Ospreay hit a Black Arrow to Ricochet for the pinfall victory in tribute to PAC.

During the Women’s Trios match between Mercedes Mone, Persephone, & Dr. Britt Baker and Marina Shafir, Hyan, & Thunder Rosa, Shafir countered Baker’s Lockjaw and hit a judo throw that was followed by a Brutalizer to Baker for the submission victory in tribute to PAC.

Bryan Danielson Makes Surprise Appearance & Embraces Jon Moxley

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured Bryan Danielson making a surprise appearance.

Following Moxley’s victory over Orange Cassidy to retain the AEW Continental Championship, Moxley started to break down over PAC not being around anymore and began to tear up. This led to Danielson’s music playing and came out with a very emotional and tearful look on his face. Danielson got into the ring and the two embraced each other in remembrance of PAC and reuniting for the first time since Danielson was kicked out of the Death Riders.

Wardlow & Bryan Danielson Makes In-Ring Return

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured Wardlow and Bryan Danielson making their surprise in-ring returns.

Wardlow was revealed as the fifth member for the Don Callis Family and Danielson was revealed as the fifth member for the Death Riders for their 10-Man Tag Team match for their respective teams.

This was Wardlow’s first match since March of 2024 due to a torn pectoral injury and for filming commitments for the American Gladiators reboot series for Amazon Prime. This was Danielson’s first match since WrestleDream 2024 in October of 2024 for his full-time in-ring wrestling career and since June of 2025.
