Dorian Roldan’s “Big Announcement” Revealed To Be Failed Attempt To Get Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Title Loss Overturned

Saturday’s AAA TV show at the Domo de la Feria de San Luis Potosi in Leon, Mexico featured Dorian Roldan revealing that his “big announcement” was his attempt to get AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio to overturn El Grande Americano’s victory over Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania 34.

This was setup during an in-ring promo segment involving El Grande, Roldan, Dominik, Omos, and Rey. During the show, Roldan, Dominik, and Omos came out to the ring to interrupt El Grande’s celebratory speech to the crowd. Roldan talked about he is here on behalf of the Roldan family and he has no issue with El Grande. Roldan continued stating that his issue is with AAA GM Rey Mysterio.

This led to Rey’s music playing and came out to the ring. After Rey gave some words of praise to El Grande, Roldan responded stating that he has two questions for Rey. Dorian asked if Rey was the man who made the three count at Triplemania, which Rey responded back stating “yes.” Roldan then asked if Rey was the official referee for the match, which Rey responded back stating that he is the GM. Roldan responded back demanding that Rey reverse the decision because he is not a licensed referee in Mexico.

This led to El Grande responding and issued a challenge to Omos and Dominik to face off against him and Rey in a tag team match. El Grande stated that if Dominik and Omos wins, then he will give Dominik a shot at his title at Heroes Inmortals 2026 but if they lose, then Dominik can never challenge for the title again as long as he is champion. Dominik grabbed a microphone and accepted the challenge.

The champ is tired of the talking. 😤 @luchalibreaaa Mega Champion El Grande Americano will team with @reymysterio to face @DomMysterio35 and @TheGiantOmos TONIGHT with MASSIVE championship implications! 😳 https://t.co/ijcxmo4Stc
