WWE’s Current Plans for Royal Rumble 2027 Date

As noted before, WWE is currently scheduled to be holding next year’s WWE Royal Rumble at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale. No exact date has been officially given yet beyond it taking place in February of 2027.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources within WWE stated that they currently believe that next year’s Royal Rumble event will be taking place on the weekend of February 6.

WWE WrestleMania 43 Dates Reportedly Revealed

As noted before, WWE is currently likely to be officially announcing the date for next year’s WrestleMania 43 event in Saudi Arabia by the time of this November’s Crown Jewel 2026 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The reason for WWE’s announcement coming much later than usual for a WrestleMania event is due to issues related to their current plans for the event and the current volatile situation in the Middle East.

Post Wrestling’s John Pollock and Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported in a recent episode of the Pollock & Thurston podcast that their sources stated that WWE officials currently have internally scheduled for WrestleMania 43 to take place on April 10-11, 2027.

Brie Bella Provides Update on Broken Scapula Injury & Return Plans

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella has been out of action since this past August’s SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 event earlier due to a broken scapula injury.

A recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast featured Brie providing an update on her recovery from a broken scapula injury.

“Just got a CT scan. They sent it to WWE. I’m feeling strong. I’m feeling good. I’m still not cleared to do any of the exercises I would like to do, and I will admit there are times where I will go to shut a window and I get really bad spasms or sharp pains. I’m still really cautious about picking up things that are heavier than five pounds. I’m very smart with that. As of right now, I’m still in physical therapy three days a week doing basic exercises, but really trying to strengthen the muscles around the scapula.”

Brie also gave her thoughts about how she is waiting for the bones to fuse so that she can take the next step in her rehab and the future of her in-ring wrestling career.

“I still think my days to be in-ring are still far, unfortunately. I’m not the type of girl to rush things.”

John Cena Comments on “I Know There’s Sentiment Out There That, ‘Man, They’re Wasting GUNTHER!’ Maybe Currently They Are”

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured John Cena as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cena’s thoughts about Gunther’s creative direction on WWE programming since his retirement match against him in December of 2025 and fans believing Gunther is being “wasted” in WWE since then.

“I know there’s sentiment out there that like, ‘Man, they’re wasting GUNTHER!’ Maybe currently they are. But I don’t see the view from the penthouse. I’m not in those meetings where they’re just looking at the whiteboard, connecting the dots. Maybe they’re just cooling him off. Maybe they’re putting him away from TV. I don’t know. What I am gonna do is I’m not gonna challenge the opinion of, ‘Aye, I’m not gonna give this for this guy and you’re gonna forget him.’ This is the work that I need to do for today, and we’re gonna make him look the best we can, and I’m gonna give him as much steam as I can, and what you do with it afterwards, that ain’t my call.”
