AEW CEO Tony Khan held a livestream earlier today on Twitter. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about Paramount Skydance officially acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery today and the new merged Skydance company.

“My first day working for Skydance and it’s great. I love working for Skydance and we’re gonna have a great future here. It’s our first day hand-in-hand with our Paramount brothers and sisters here at Warner Bros. It’s gonna be a great, great future for AEW and it begins on Tuesday Night Dynamite, Grand Slam…”

Khan also gave his thoughts about the upcoming Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW World Championship at AEW WrestleDream 2026 and how he has made tweaks to Will Ospreay’s original idea for the new match type.

“I’m really looking forward to the Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream. Will Ospreay approached me about this match and I’m really looking forward to implementing it in AEW. It was a great idea when he brought it up to me and I’m looking forward to bringing it into AEW, making it our own match. I’ve made some tweaks to the format. I’ve added qualifying matches. I’m going to go over the rules extensively. You’ll hear about it on Dynamite tonight. You’ll be hearing a lot about it in the time to come.”
