Robbie Eagles vs. YOH for IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title Set for NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2026

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced one new match for the card of King of Pro Wrestling 2026, which takes place on October 12 at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

This new match announced was an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match of Robbie Eagles vs. YOH (c).

This new match was setup following YOH defeating Robbie X at NJPW’s Road to King of Pro Wrestling event on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan. Following the match, YOH grabbed a microphone and playfully instigated a confrontation with Eagles after doing the “Robbie” chant directed at Robbie X. This led to Eagles coming out and an IWGP Junior Heavyweight title match being set between the two for King of Pro Wrestling.
