As noted before, AEW commentator Jim Ross underwent successful brain surgery this past August to deal with a health issue that has affected his memory since his lengthy hospital stay for an undisclosed medical issue this past June. Ross recently revealed that he has been dealing with “blistering headaches” since his surgery that has been caused by the shunt placed in his brain and would be undergoing a second surgery on October 7 to fix the issue with his shunt.
Conrard Thompson, co-host of the Grilling JR podcast, provided an update earlier today stating that Ross’ daughter had informed him that Ross underwent successful brain surgery and he is currently recovering.
“I just heard GREAT NEWS from @JRsBBQ’s daughter:
Procedure went well. He is in recovery right now. Will hopefully be heading home around 3.”
