Video: Last Week’s Show Recap

A recap package running down last week’s explosion of Order 4 and The Hardys confrontation with Syx aired to bring us all up to speed.

In-Ring: The Hardys, The Nemeths, Leon Slater

The Hardys then came down to the ring to address the crowd.

Matt grabbed a mic and talked about how they are going to beat the Nemeths tonight and Jeff agreed. Matt said that Syx made it clear that they don’t respect the Hardys or TNA. Matt said that after they win the tag belts tonight, they will put them on the line against Syx at Bound For Glory (kinda putting the cart before the horse there, Matt). Jeff then invited Syx to come out there to “try and kill” the Hardys.

However, it was Nic and Ryan Nameth who came out to yell at them instead. Ryan said that they are to focused on the future and won’t even make it to Bound For Glory. Matt reiterated that they are going to win tonight and told Nic that Leon Slater will take the World Title as well.

Nic disagreed and then Leon Slater came out. There is a no-contact clause between Slater and Nic until Bound For Glory, so he stayed at the top of the entrance ramp while he told the Nemeths that they are going to lose. Nic called him an idiot. Slater said he may be an idiot but he still beat up Ryan.

Nic accused Slater of hiding behind Santino’s clause and Slater said that there was no clause between he and Ryan, so anytime, anywhere. Slater then said that he will be hanging around “keeping an eye” on the tag title match tonight and he hopes the Nemeth’s get deleted.

Backstage: Allie, Kiera Hogan, Zoey Serrano

Backstage, Allie and Kiera Hogan were walking to the ring when Zoey Serrano gave Allie a passing shoulder shot, leading to a fight.

Backstage: Moose

Back from break, Moose cut a promo saying that he’s issuing an open challenge for Bound For Glory. Whoever accepts gets to find out why he’s the face of the franchise. Moose.

Allie & Kiera Hogan vs. Ki Vibez & Alex Garcia

So, Allie used to team with Rosemary, but apparently she went crazy or died or something. However, Allie has been seeing her all over the place, possibly from the astral plane.

Hogan and Gracia started the match off with a lock up and Gracia sent Hogan to the ropes with a dropkick. Hogan recovered and sent her face first into the ropes.

It was here that it was announced that The Hardys will face Syx in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Bound For Glory.

Allie and Vibes went back and forth until Vibes set her up on the ropes for a kick from Gracia. Gracia tagged in and threw elbows at Allie, but she responded with a chinbreaker and a tag to Hogan.

Hogan wrecked shop and nailed Vibes with a hip attack and dropkick in the corner for a two count. Allie came in and hit a Codebreaker on Vibes and Hogan followed that up with her finisher to get the win.

Winner: Allie & Kiera Hogan via Pinfall.

After the match, Allie called out Zoey Serrano. Hogan said that at Bound For Glory, Serrano can find whoever she wants and face them for the Knockouts Tag Titles.

Backstage: Avery Styles, Frankie Kazarian

Backstage, Frankie Kazarian talked strategy with Avery Styles about their match later to determine the advantage in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match.

Call Your Shot Gauntlet Random Draw Advantage 8-Man Tag Team Match
AJ Francis, Brian Myers, Home Town Man, & Joe Alonzo vs. Frankie Kazarian, Trey Miguel, Bear Bronson, & Elijah

The winners of this match will get prime spots in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at Bound For Glory. The winner of that match will get a future title shot any time they, y’know, call it. These team members were randomly drawn, and the winner who gets the pinfall gets the 20th spot, the person who takes the pinfall gets the #1 spot.

Meyers stopped the Hometown man from starting the match against Kazarian and Kaz sent him to the corner. They locked up off of that and everyone yelled at each other. Meyers sent Kaz to the mat with a shoulder and Kaz tagged in Bronson, Meyer’s tag partner in The System.

They both looked at each other, shrugged, and Bronson chopped Miguel on the corner, counting as a tag. Meyers ent Miguel off the ropes and Miguel came back with a headscissor take down. Francis ran over and knocked Bronson down for some reason and they all brawled on the outside.

Elijah jumped on everyone, then Hometown did too. Kaz took a moment to talk with Avery on the outside about how many time he’s seen this exact sequence and then we went to a commercial break.

Back from break, things had settled down a bit with Francis holding Elijah in a bear hug. Elijah powered out of it and Walked with The Undertaker, but Francis caught him and slammed him to the mat. Meyers caught a tag and beat up Elijah, then Hometown and Alonso came in for some stomps.

Elijah caught Alonso with a high knee and Kaz came in to try a cover for two. Alonzo poked Kaz in the eye and Kaz sent him to the outside where Alonzo got in Avery Styles’ face. Kaz hit him with a cutter in response and a brawl broke out. Avery scrambled up and hit a twisting 450 on Alonzo. Kaz went for the cover, but Francis broke up the pin.

Miguel and Francis became legal and Miguel went for a moonsault, but Francis caught him. Miguel turned it into a DDT, but couldn’t avoid a superkick from Meyers. Bronson speared Elijah and then the Hometown Man DDT’ed Bronson. Francis caught Kaz with a Down Payment, but Miguel hit him with a high knee.

In the chaos, Alonzo slid into the ring and pinned Miguel to win the match.

Winner: AJ Francis, Brian Myers, Home Town Man, & Joe Alonzo via Pinfall.

Video: The Righteous, Harley Hudson

The Righteous sent in a promo from a meadow next that set their sights on Harley Hudson. They offered to protect her in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match and she considered accepting their help.

Backstage: Mustafa Ali, Order 4

Back from break, Mustafa Ali called into session the final meeting of Order 4. They too are under a no-contact clause, as Ali, Hotch, Agent 0 and Skylar are going to fight for the International title at Bound For Glory. Ali gave everyone one last chance to talk to him. Hotch started, saying that his daughter told him to “hurt Ali” which makes him sick. He then threw in his Order 4 badge.

Skylar said that he has been the most loyal member of Order 4, but now he’s got a new motivation (Mila Moore). He then called Ali an asshole and threw in his badge.

Tasha Steels went next, saying that the sacrifices that she and Agent 0 have made for Ali were all in vain. So, “f*ck y’all” and Steelz ands Zero threw in their badges.

Ali said that he gave everything to them and a Bound For Glory he is going to hurt and end them all. He his going to destroy what he created and it will always be “in Ali we trust.”

TNA Knockouts Television Championship
Elayna Black vs. M By Elegance (c)

TNA Knockouts Television Champion M by Elegance takes on Elayna Black with the rest of the Elegance Brand barred from ringside. Black won a 4-way a few weeks ago to earn this title shot.

M sent Black to the corner right off the top, patting her on the head for good measure. M took Black to the mat with a takedown and then slapped her. Black charged, but M went between the ropes. She came out of it looking for a Pump Kick, but Black countered it and sent her to the outside.

M cautiously got back into the ring and Black hit her with a headscissor takedown. Black went for a double stomp, but appeared to jam her ankle in the process. M pulled her to the outside where she stomped on Black’s hand on the steps. Black pulled her hand back though and reversed it, stomping M’s hand on the steps. M then suplexed Black off the steps onto the floor.

M backdropped Black on the apron and then went for a cover, but Black kicked out at two. M stomped her in the corner and then blew kisses to the crowd. She hit a bridging suplex on Black, but could only get a two count. M bounced Black’s head off the mat and put her in a reverse arm bar. She worked the fingers as well and then drove a knee into Black’s ribs.

M hung Black up on the bottom rope and dropkicked her, getting another two count. M hit Black with an uppercut, but on the next charge, Black lifted her over the top rope to the outside. Black started a comeback, throwing lariats and elbows. She hit a high knee strike and then a double stomp for a two count.

Black went for the Blackout, but M reversed it into a superkick. Black countered with a superkick of her own and M sent her to the corner and charged. Black got the boot up, but M dodged it with a pump kick. She hit a michinoku driver and got another two count.

M went up top for a moonsault, but Black moved and hit a knee to the face. She suplexed M for a two count. M slid out of the ring, checking the time (there is a 10 minute time limit). There was one minute left, so M ran around trying to run out the clock. Black caught her in a Blackout though, but took some damage herself and she couldn’t make the pin.

Black went for a cover and the ref counted 1, 2–and the 10 minute time limit expired, meaning M retains the Knockouts TV title.

Winner: None. M By Elegance retains the TNA Knockouts Television Championship.

Black asked for five more minutes, but M refused.

Backstage: Ricky Sosa

Backstage, Ricky Sosa cut a promo about his match against Eddie Edwards at Bound For Glory. Sosa said that it’s the biggest match of his career and Edwards is a legend. But now is Sosa’s time and he didn’t come this far to lose. He respects Edwards, but doesn’t fear him. He will win at Bound For Glory.

Backstage: Eddie Edwards

Back from commercial break, Eddie Edwards responded, saying everything Sosa said was just words. He doesn’t belong here in TNA and Edwards said Sosa’s going to need to empty everything in the chamber to put him down.

Fabian Aichner vs. KC Navarro

Both of these men are in the Six-Man Scramble at Bound For Glory to determine the next X-Division Champion. So this match is for the best currency in wrestling; momentum. Cedric Alexander, who’s also in the match at BFG joined commentary.

Off the lock up, Aichner used his size and power to force Navarro into the corner. Navarro responded with a headlock, but Aichner sent him off the ropes for a military press. Navarro got out of it and went off the ropes, but Aichner caught him. Navarro countered with a headscissor and then threw forearms at Aichner.

He pulled down the ropes, sending Aichner to the outside, where Navarro dove at him. Aichner caught him though and then dropped him on the apron before sending him back into the ring for a two count. Aichner put on a body scissor and then suplexed Navarro across the ring.

Aichner threw forearms and upper cuts in the corner, but Navarro came back and hit a hurricanrana. He set up Aichner on the ropes and hit a totally-not-a-619 then a frog splash from the ringpost. Aichner kicked out of the ensuing cover at two. Navarro went for a superkick, but Aichner countered with a back breaker.

Aichner powerbombed Navarro and that was it. 1-2-3, Aichner wins and gets momentum heading into Bound For Glory.

Winner: Fabian Aichner via Pinfall.

Parking Lot: Zoey Serrano, Shayna Baszler

Backstage, Zoey Serrano facetimed someone to say that Allie and Kiera Hogan called her out earlier and she needs a partner. She turned the phone around to reveal Shayna Baszler! Baszler said that as long as she gets to break someone, she’s there.

Video: Indi Hartwell, Xia Brookside

Back from break, Knockouts Champion Xia Brookside and her Bound For Glory challenger, Indi Hartwell offered up their final words before their match. Hartwell said that she still feels the sting of her loss at BFG last year and Brookside said that Hartwell is nothing but a manipulative bi*ch.

Hartwell said that she hasn’t let anything stop her getting back to the Knockouts title and Brookside said that Hartwell doesn’t have what it takes to be a champion. Hartwell said that Brookside has taken shortcut after short cut and is scared of her, but she sees through it. Brookside said that she has everything it takes to be Champion and she will walk out of Bound For Glory with the title.

The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) vs. The Nemeths (Ryan & Nic Nemeth) (c)

After the match, the lights went out completely and when they came back on, Slater was laid out and Nic had no idea what happened. The lights went out again and when they came back on Shaw and Sawyer were in the ring beating up the Hardys. The Nemeths bailed up the ramp and the table was officially set for Bound For Glory.
