Maven Issues Statement Apologizing For Timing of Enzo Amore Interview Video Release & Confirmed It Was Filmed In 2025

As noted before, former WWE talent Enzo Amore, also known as Real1 and nZo in the indies, recently clarified comments he made during an interview with former WWE talent Maven that were negative towards AEW in regards to their locker room altercations being made public. Amore revealed that this interview was taped in March of 2025 and called out Maven for waiting to release the video until after the passing of the late “PAC” Benjamin Satterley. Amore also praised AEW for their tribute show to Satterley.

Maven recently issued a statement on his official YouTube channel apologizing for the timing of the release of the video and claimed that nothing malicious was intended. Maven also confirmed that the video was recorded in 2025.

“Hey guys, I wanted to address the Enzo Amore video. First, we want to apologize to Enzo and any fans who were upset or hurt by the timing of our latest upload. Nothing malicious was intended, but looking back, we fully understand why the timing bothered some people. Moving forward, we’ll make sure we’re more mindful about our content and when we release it. Enzo recorded with us back in 2025, but there was a portion of the interview he later asked us not to release. We honored that request, and because that was a significant part of the original video, the interview ended up sitting unreleased for quite a while. Over time, we heard from viewers who still wanted us to release what we could from the interview. Last Friday, our regular upload was much shorter than what we normally post, so we felt it was a good opportunity to give you guys a little extra and finally release that version. Just to be completely clear, the portion Enzo asked us to remove was removed. We honored that request, and it does not appear anywhere in the video. Again, our apologies. We’re learning from this, and we’ll do better and be more mindful going forward.”
