Jon Moxley Surprise Video Airs

Monday’s NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2026 event at the Kobe World Hall in Kobe, Japan featured Jon Moxley making a surprise appearance.

Following Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi & Daiki Nagai) defeating Goto Revolutionary Army (Hirooki Goto & Tatsuya Matsumoto) in a tag team match, the lights went out and a video aired on the big screen. Death Riders’ Moxley and Marina Shaffir appeared and Moxley declared that he was coming back to NJPW.

After the lights went back on, an annoyed looking Takagi grabbed a microphone and talked about how Moxley finally responded to him calling out only to not even bother to say his name when he finally showed up. Takagi then demanded for NJPW to put him in a match with Moxley at the next show Moxley attends.

Will Ospreay & Callum Newman vs. Knockout Bros for IWGP Tag Titles Set for NJPW Power Struggle 2026

NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2026 event also featured one new match set for Power Struggle 2026, which takes place on November 3rd in Hiroshima, Japan.

This new match setup was an IWGP Tag Team Championship match of United Empire (Callum Newman & Will Ospreay) vs. Knockout Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice) (c).

This new match was setup following Knockout Brothers and Jeff Cobb defeating United Empire to become the new NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Following the match, Newman ran into the ring and attacked OSKAR and grabbed his kitana pressing it to OSKAR’s neck. This led to Ospreay getting involved shoving Newman’s back and Newman swinging his kitana around in return missing Ospreay. This led to heated confrontation between Ospreay and Newman that ended when Newman left the ring and made his way to the back.

Ospreay gave a concerned reaction afterwards over the announcement.
