As noted before, former AEW talent Max Caster made his official debut appearance for TNA Wrestling at Sunday’s Bound for Glory 2026 event in Tampa, Florida. Caster’s appearance was notable for the online backlash against his pre-match promo directed at Moose that included a line referencing the recent missile attack at an airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia that resulted in several deaths. Caster was believed to no longer be working with TNA over issues involving his promo being “unscripted” and “unapproved.”
TNA issued an official statement earlier today apologizing for the insensitive comments made by Caster at their event and confirmed that he will no longer be working with the company going forward.
“During Sunday’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, insensitive comments were made by Max Caster referencing attacks in Riyadh that killed and injured many people. Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize. We have removed the segment from replays and our social channels and are taking steps to ensure something like this never happens again. Max Caster will no longer be wrestling for TNA.”
