Austin Creed Comments on Having To Walk Away From UpUpDownDown After WWE Departure & Teases New Video Game Channel In AEW

Phid McAwesome held a recent interview with Austin Creed, former Xavier Woods in WWE, at the PAX Aus 2026 convention in Melbourne, Australia earlier this month. One of the topics discussed included Creed’s thoughts about what it was like having to walk away from his UpUpDownDown video game channel on YouTube following his departure from WWE this past May.

“It’s fine. Because I believe in myself creatively enough that if I want to, I just build something else.”

Creed also gave his thoughts about how none of the “Da Party” streaming group (Creed, Tyler Breeze, Adam Cole, and Claudio Castagnoli) are no longer with WWE and teased the idea of reuniting the group and launching a new YouTube video game channel.

“I will say that you are correct, none of the Da Party members are currently signed with WWE. And that would lead me to believe that there is at least the chance that something will happen. The chance of something to be created is available. I will not confirm or deny if anyone has been filming anything or if anyone has been creating assets for a new YouTube channel — I will not confirm or deny that. I will not.”

Creed also gave his thoughts about how he would want the same dynamic to exist with the AEW locker room if he were to start a similar project like UpUpDownDown in AEW.

“I would hope that maybe there’d be a chance to do something with video games. I don’t know. I cannot say. But that rapport with the locker room is first and foremost the most important thing. So before I even think about setting up a camera and getting people to play games and stuff, I want that rapport first.”
