Shotzi Blackheart Provides Update on Her Indies Career Following TNA Signing

As noted before, Shotzi Blackheart’s contract with Major League Wrestling expired earlier this month and was a free agent. Blackheart made a surprise appearance for TNA Wrestling at their TNA Impact! tapings last week in Dothan, Alabama. TNA confirmed earlier today that Blackheart recently signed an official contract with the company.

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Blackheart as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Blackheart providing an update on the status of her wrestling career stating that she will continue to take indies bookings despite being under contract with TNA.

“I’m still going to be busting my butt on the indies and taking as many bookings as possible, but TNA is where I’m at and I’m hoping to do some really fun things at TNA. I’m really excited to work with all the girls there.”

Blackheart also gave her thoughts about if she’s looking forward to doing weekly television in TNA.

“That’s what really excites me because that’s my favorite part of pro wrestling, the storytelling and how wild the stories get. If you saw the last episode of TNA, I have a little bond with Rosemary and Allie. I’m excited to see where that goes on television. I’m looking forward to having a lot of fun and focusing on a storyline.”
