Sami Zayn Refuses Roman Reigns Offer To Reunite With The Bloodline To Help Take Out 946

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California featured Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn refusing WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns’ offer to rejoin The Bloodline to help with his issues with 946.

During the show, Zayn came out to the ring and gave some words before Reigns’ music played and came out to the ring as well for their confrontation ahead of their match at Crown Jewel. Reigns told Zayn that it is good to see Zayn again leading to Zayn smiling and embracing Reigns in a Bloodline reunion moment. Zayn talked about how he understands what it means to be the champion and the burden and disrespect it brings. Zayn stated that he didn’t get it before but he gets it now.

Reigns responded back first doing his routine asking the crowd to acknowledge him and talked about how this was his show but he has an opportunity for Zayn. Reigns continued stating some might even call it a favor leading to a confused look by Zayn in response. Reigns brought up how the most important title Zayn ever had was being an “Honorary Uce.” Reigns then asked Zayn if “we’re here to discuss these titles or The 946. Is Zayn here out of greed or out of love to serve The Bloodline?”

Zayn responded back talking about how his time in The Bloodline was some of the best of his life and career and they are family and that doesn’t go away. Zayn continued stating that he is the head of his own table on SmackDown and has to do things his way because he’s the Undisputed WWE Champion.

This led to a frustrated response by Reigns and talked about Zayn has “a title” but he has “the title.”Zayn responded back stating for 1,400 days, his title was the A Title and Reigns’ was the B Title and now it’s flipped? Reigns responded back stating that maybe it’s the arrogance of the man holding the title, maybe it has nothing to do with the title at all and more about the man holding the title. Reigns insulted the belt Zayn has stating that “maybe that title hasn’t meant shit since WrestleMania 40” and World Heavyweight Championship is the title now!

Zayn responded back talking about how winning the WWE title is one of the hardest things on Earth to win but he did it and that is not going to minimize his achievement. Zayn continued stating he’s so disappointed because this is not how he wanted things to go at all and he respects Reigns and he’s family. Zayn continued talking about how he feels disrespected that Reigns doesn’t view him like a threat and Reigns responded back stating he knows exactly who Zayn is and if he’s being honest and he might not even have the title by the time they get to Crown Jewel. Reigns then dropped the microphone and walked out of the ring.

Things just got REAL! 😲 @WWERomanReigns | @SamiZayn https://t.co/luE1DdyaGn

Current Card for Next Week’s Show

WWE announced one new match announced for the card of next week’s show on October 26 at the Save Mart Center At Fresno State in Fresno, California.

This new match announced was a No Disqualification match of Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria.

This match was initially setup over recent months shows over the bad blood issues between Bayley and Valkyria that turned into Bayley stalking Vakyria to drive her crazy. During Valkyria’s singles match against Lola Vice on the show, Bayley grabbed Valkyria’s foot from under the ring and taunted her before slipping back under the ring. A crazy looked Valkyria told the referee that Bayley was under the ring which led to the referee being distracted as Bayley popped up from another side of the ring and grabbed Valkyria again before disappearing again. This led to Valkyria getting distracted enough to get hit with Vice’s spinning backfist for the loss. Following the match, Valkyria and Bayley brawled that ended with Valkyria running away and Bayley telling Valkyria that things between them ends next week in a No DQ match.
