AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Match
Davis & Doyle (Mark Davis & Jake Doyle) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) (c)

Commentary welcomes us to the show, running down the lineup as we head to ringside for our opening contest. The Young Bucks make their entrance for this World Tag Team Title Eliminator Match, followed by “Davis and Doyle” as the announcement goes…and we get this match underway!

Doyle comes in hot, attacking Matt and bringing Nick in the hard way. Davis attacks Nick, sending him to the floor and into the barricade AND the ring steps while Doyle goes to work on Matt. The two big men send the Bucks colliding into each other, before Davis sets Matt up on a chair for a hip attack. Doyle, meanwhile, sets Nick up for a powerbomb onto a barricade and then through the timekeeper’s table.

Davis brings Matt back into the ring for a double-team, before Doyle leaves the ring as Davis hits a gutwrench piledriver…and another! Doyle drags Nick into the ring as Dunkzilla, well, dunks Matt one more time while Doyle squeezes Nick like crazy with a bearhug…and then the pair cover the champs for the win!

Winner: Davis & Doyle via Pinfall.

Don Callis is ecstatic for this, celebrating alongside the new contenders

Video: AEW WrestleDream 2026 Recap

We go to a video package highlighting the big moments from WrestleDream this past weekend.

Will Ospreay & Adam Copeland vs. Don Callis Family (“The Jet” Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher)

We head back to ringside as Adam Copeland makes his entrance, the crowd singing along after his theme fades out. Will Ospreay comes out next to a big pop, as Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher round out the entrances to get this match underway!

We start things off with Knight and Cope, who takes the Jet to the mat with a front chancery of sorts. Kevin finds a way out with a hammerlock before taking Cope to the ropes, only for the Rated R Superstar to knock him down with a shoulder tackle. He takes Knight to the corner, but Kevin turns it around before the ref calls for a break. Knight stomps away at Adam until the ref intervenes again.

Knight sends Copeland across the ring, but Cope slides out to the floor and flips the Jet off. Knight follows him out and back in the ring, but gets cut off with a swinging neckbreaker. Tags made to Ospreay and Fletcher, the latter slowly getting in the ring to confront his former pal. Shove by Ospreay and the two lock up, until Fletcher gets the champ against the ropes forcing a break.

They both hits the ropes looking for the upper hand, with Kyle initially getting the upper hand…only for Ospreay to fight him off with some chops. He takes Fletcher to the mat for a Sky Twister Press, but only gets a two count for his efforts. Tag to Cope and a double-team keeps Kyle off his game, while also fending Knight off in the process. Cope brings Kyle to the corner, letting out some frustration as he pummels the Protostar until the ref calls for a break.

Tag back to Ospreay, who goes for a step up hurricanrana until Knight gets the tag. He sends Adam off the apron, and they drop the champ hard to the mat as we go to an ad break!

Fletcher is still in control, keeping Osperay from making the tag to Cope before Knight gets one instead…and lands a splash on the champ’s back to keep him down! Ospreay manages to fight back enough to land a flying forearm on the Jet, and Will gets the tag to Copeland…who takes Knight to the mat! In comes Fletcher, only to be flapjacked to the mat by Adam. Cope catches Knight, sending him down for a two count. He goes to the corner for a spear, but Knight slides out of the ring. Cope gets distracted by Fletcher, allowing Kevin to take him out for a two count of his own.

Ospreay comes in to intercept Fletcher trying to do more damage, sending Kevin out of the ring before Kyle lands a running kick sending the champ to the floor as well. Cope and Fletcher are both down as the ref begins a count, and Cope gets to his feet as Okada comes to the ring seemingly to talk trash while holding his title up high. Ospreay takes him out but is attacked by Knight, as back in the ring Cope manages to counter Fletcher for a Killswitch.

Knight comes leaping into the ring but gets intercepted with a spear by Cope. Fletcher is in the corner as Cope goes for another spear…running into the International Title held up by Okada instead! This allows Fletcher to drop the Rated R Superstar with a sheer drop brainbuster for the win.

Winner: Don Callis Family via Pinfall.

No time for celebration just yet, as (some of) the rest of the Don Callis Family makes their way to the ring to join in a beatdown on Ospreay and Copeland. Fletcher lays out Ospreay with the World Title, before the lights cut out as Darby Allin’s music plays. He’s not alone as Steven Borden stands alongside him, and they are joined by the Young Bucks to head to the ring, driving away the Family with the help of an oar and a skateboard! Steven gets a microphone, and he lays it out straight for us: he’s back…for Blood and Guts!

Darby’s music hits as we go to commercial break.

Swerve Strickland vs. Tome Filip

Tome Filip is in the ring for our next match as Swerve Strickland makes his entrance. We take a look at Swerve’s interview in Billboard…as he blindsides Tome with a House Call to get this match underway!

It’s all over from there as he quickly lands a couple shots followed by the Vertebreaker to end things swiftly.

Winner: Swerve Strickland via Pinfall.

Swerve clearly has ohter things on his mind as he quickly makes his exit from the ring.

Backstage: Mercedes Mone

We head backstage where we see Mercedes Moné arriving, and we’ll hear from the Women’s World Champion later tonight

Orange Cassidy & Jay White vs. Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia)

Right now we head back to ringside for our next match, as Orange Cassidy makes his entrance. Jay White makes his way to the ring next as commentary talks about him returning early from injury. Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia make their entrance next, coming through the crowd as we take a look back at the Tailgate Brawl tag match these four men were involved in last Saturday. Death Riders arrive at the ring and we get this match underway!

Jay and Garcia start things off, exchange of holds leading to a double wristlock by White. Standing switch by Garcia gets the Switchblade to the ropes for a break. White sent to the ropes but he catches Garcia with a shoulder tackle followed by a side headlock takeover. Garcia tries to fight back but gets suplexed for a two count. Tag made to Cassidy for a double suplex. Yuta tries to intervene but is forced away by the ref.

Garcia with a sleeper on Cassidy but he breaks free, forcing Garcia into the corner where Yuta makes the tag. He sends Orange to the mat before rolling him up for a two. Wheeler blocks a Stundog Millionaire and sends Cassidy to the corner, only to be fought off by Orange. Yuta distracts the ref while Garcia uses the apron to attack Cassidy, with Jay’s attempt to fend him off leading to a dive by Yuta as we go to ad break.

Cassidy tries to fight out of a bad position as we come back, managing to escape a sunset flip attempt by Garcia to tag in White. He goes after both Yuta and Garcia, dropping the latter with a dragon screw legwhip. Garcia tags out to Yuta, who gets taken to the corner by the Switchblade. Garcia with an assist followed by the tag, and they knock Cassidy off the apron before attacking Jay in the corner. Dragontamer by Garcia as Yuta gets fought off on the outside by Cassidy, who breaks up the submission with…his usual kicks.

Yuta with a blind tag as he catches Cassidy by surprise. Chaos ensues as Jay gets a tag, and the Death Riders nearly have it won with a Twist and Shout followed by a Fastball Special…but Yuta lands on the knees of the Switchblade, who takes him out with a Blade Runner for the win!

Winner: Orange Cassidy & Jay White via Pinfall.

The pair celebrate as we are told that we’ll hear from Mercedes Moné up next

Video: Ilja Dragunov

And for some reason get the metronome we now associate with Ilja Dragunov (maybe a reminder of his in-ring debut still to come) before we go to commercial break.

Backstage: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly, Prince Nana, Swerve Strickland

Backstage we hear from new trios champs, but Page and Brodido are interrupted by Swerve Strickland. He makes a demand for a rematch. Page admits that they wouldn’t have gotten their shot if they hadn’t been granted a rematch first, so the champ tells him to say when. Swerve wants that shot at Full Gear…and stops from walking off to remind Page of when he hung the Hangman. He wants that trios title match to be Texas Death…but Page says no, knowing full well that isn’t about the trios titles. He’ll honor the rematch but not like that. Swerve just laughs at this before walking off. Dynamite rolls on.

Parking Lot: Nick Wayne

We get a shot of the parking lot, where Nick Wayne arrives in a limo (missing call time by a country mile) and shows off a new t-shirt reminding us that he…beat Chris Jericho. Spoot of pyro in celebration

In-Ring: Mercedes Mone, Marina Shafir

We return to ringside where Renee Paquette introduces AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné.

The champ enters the ring and man, the minor audio issues from commentary (which I’d just gotten over) are bleeding into this segment as Moné addresses her nose still being broken but it didn’t stop her from beating Willow and taking her smile and the title…and then beating Thekla at WrestleDream.

After all that, Mercedes wants to know who’s the next woman to step up to Merecdes Moné. Audio team doesn’t seem to remember who has what theme tonight as we get Jon Moxley’s theme playing, with Marina Shafir making her way through the crowd. She enters the ring, grabbing the mic to tell the champ not to be a p—y. Moné doesn’t take kindly to that, leaving the ring as Roderick Strong makes his entrance. Moné jaws off with Shafir’s real-life husband, presumably telling him to deal with his woman, as we see Moxley enters the ring to hype up Marina a little bit. She leaves the ring per Continental Rules, and we get our next match underway immediately.

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match
Roderick Strong vs. Jon Moxley (c)

Mox with an early nearfall on his potential challenger, but Strong fights back to take the champ off his game. Jon is back in it as he gets a hammerlock on Roddy, who breaks free before catching the champ with a dropkick for a two count. He sends Mox to the corner for some shoulder charges and a chop, but Mox escapes to the center where both men trade strikes.

Mox takes Roderick down with a forearm shiver, and intercepts him in the corner to drive his forearm into Strong’s face. Dropkick to the knee of Roddy before attacking his ankle from the apron. Strong fights back with a backbreaker onto the hardest part of the ring as we go to ad break.

Mox and Strong up on the turnbuckle, where the champ fights Roddy off with some headbutts sending him to the mat. Flying nothing from Mox, but he catches Strong by surprise with a Paradigm Shift. Strong leaves the ring, but is sent into the barricade with a dive by Mox…who does it a second time for good measure!

Mox brings Roddy back into the ring, and Strong heads to the corner where he gets hit with a flurry of offense by the champ. Roddy ducks a clothesline for one of his own, followed by a backbreaker. Another one hits the mark, but Jon breaks free. Strong hits him with a lungblower of sorts…only for the champion to take him down with a lariat! Both men back up, fighting back and forth until Mox cuts Strong off with a cutter.

Ten minutes remain as Strong counters the champ for a nearfall. He goes from that to go to the Stronghold, keeping the champ down as he struggles toward the ropes. He turns it around before catching Strong in a rear naked choke…and Strong is not about to pass out here as he taps out instead!

Winner: Jon Moxley via Submission.

Mox takes his leave from the ring while Finlay and Connors make a beeline for Strong, beating him down until the champ actually comes back in the ring to tell them to back off. They comply at first, but when Jon turns his back they blindside him! Out comes the shillelagh, but Gabe Kidd comes running down to protect his Death Rider mate. This leads to issues between Kidd and his fellow Dogs, until the Conglomeration and Bang Bang Gang come to the ring as well.

This all turns out ot be a ruse as White takes out Orange Cassidy, and we find out during the chaos that ensues that the Bang Bang Gang are now working WITH The Dogs! They take out Yuta and Garcia, with Claudio fending them off until the numbers are too much. They prop up Castagnoli as Jay hands Finlay the shillelagh, and he wallops Claudio with it before they turn their attention to Moxley…who spits in Jay’s face, leading to a Blade Runner on the Continental Champion.

The reunited subsection of Bullet Club represented by these two groups joining forces ends with them standing tall

Video: Ilja Dragunov

We go to a video highlighting the debut of Ilja Dragunov (evidently this is what started to air earlier lol). He makes his in-ring debut when he takes on “Speedball” Mike Bailey later tonight!

Backstage: Divine Dominion, Triangle of Madness, The Brawling Birds, Wrathlander

Chaos has been the theme of the night, and the chaos continues as we see Divine Dominon laying waste to WrathLander and the Brawling Birds. Sisters of Sin appear alongside Thekla, who tells her Triangle of Madness pals to back off as we head back to ringside.

In-Ring: Nick Wayne, Chris Jericho

Justin Roberts tells us we are to stand up and cheer the 21 year old prodigy and to call him Nick Wayne.

Out he comes as we take a look back at WrestleDream, where Nick Wayne managed to…beat Chris Jericho (imaginary pyro here) once again. Even the video replay is acting up, which is a shame. Nick enters the ring as we hear some really rowdy fans cheering him on. Nick has a mic and asks us if we heard the good news that Nick Wayne…beat Chris Jericho. We get pyro for this, and he reminds us that it happened twice, so it’s only right to do it again. Nick Wayne…beat Jericho. Another pyro pop.

This means that Chris Jericho needs to come to the ring and apologize to Nick Wayne. So come on and get your dumb a– down here. No sign of Jericho. Nick says he should’ve known better than to think Jericho would show up…and a blast of pyro interrupts him (and I think he swore from the surprise) as Jericho finally arrives. The crowd sings along to his theme as Jericho heads to the ring.

Nick was surprised to see Jericho here but he’s glad he is. He’s been thinking about all the ways he can apologize to Nick. Jericho starts to speak but Wayne interrupts, admitting he’s been thinking about this since last week when the agreement was made…and then cuts him off again to talk about how his friends are tapped in to see it, so say you’re sorry Chris.

This finally gets Jericho to let off an old catchphrase as he tells Nick Wayne to please shut…the hell…up! He can’t apologize if Nick won’t let him. He talks about telling Nick he doesn’t know what he doesn’t know, and how he’s learned a few lessons from Jericho going into WrestleDream.

Nick asks if he means WrestleDream, when Nick Wayne…beat Chris Jericho? Another shot of pyro, which amuses and impresses Jericho. Nick tells him he hasn’t gotten to the whole reason he’s out here, which is to apologize. He gives him a bunch of ways to say he’s sorry, including Spanish and while holding Jericho’s hand to help him out…but Jericho cuts him off.

He gets into how talented Nick is and how he can use the win from WrestleDream and go on to be a multi-time World Champion like the other men who have beaten Jericho over the years. He asks Nick if he understands what Jericho is saying…apparently swearing as the feed censors it, but in the midst of it he does give some form of apology before leaving the ring.

Video: FTR, Motor City Machine Guns

We cut to a video package of Motor City Machine Guns beating FTR in Match 1 of their Best of Five Series at the Tailgate Brawl. Collision will see Match 2, and Match 3 will take place at Fright Night Dynamite on Wednesday. With that, Dynamite rolls on.

TBS Championship #1 Contender Match
Queen Aminata vs. Maya World

Back at ringside, Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Persephone are joining commentary for our next match. Queen Aminata makes her entrance first, followed by the returning Maya World to get this match underway!

The two lock up with Maya taking the Queen to the mat. Aminata back on her feet as the two go back at it, with Aminata turning things around. She goes for Chocolate Kisses but World breaks free, taking the fight to the Queen before Aminata finally nails her with the hip attack of sorts. Lunging boot keeps the former TBS Champion down. Maya blocks a neckbreaker for a jawbreaker isntead, followed by a heel kick off the ropes sending the Queen to the outside…where she follows up with a dive sending Aminata to the floor!

She confronts Baker and Persephone at commentary, and this allows Aminata to get back in the ring, where she intercepts World for a two count as we go to ad break.

Back from break, Aminata takes World to the canvas for a nearfall. Maya starts to fight back as both women trade strikes, leading to an enziguri from Maya sending the Queen to the corner. She sends Aminata down hard before hitting a moonsault, but it’s only good for two.

This leads to a trade of nearfalls between both women, who get back up before Maya hits for one more two count. Forearm strike from Aminata forces World to leave the ring, where the Queen sends her into the barricade. She props Maya on the chair for a chop and then climbs to the apron…where she sends Maya flying to the floor with a dropkick!

Aminata stares down the TBS Champion before bringing Maya back to the ring, only for World to dodge a double stomp…but the Queen takes her out with Off With Her Head for the win!

Winner: Queen Aminata via Pinfall.

Persephone and Baker leave to “congratulate” the new contender, only for Hyan and Maya World to stand beside the Queen to keep them away. The TBS Title match is made official for next week’s Fright Night Dynamite, as Baker and Persephone are slow to leave the ring.

Video: The Rascalz

We cut to a video package highlighting the recent performances of The Rascalz. Myron Reed faces Swerve Strickland at Collision, and we get a reminder of the Best of 5 Series continuing through next Wednesday.

Backstage: Don Callis Family

Backstage, Don Callis Family addresses the challenge made Blood and Guts, talking about how they will use that to soften their opponents up for future matches against the Young Bucks and Will Ospreay. With that, we go to commercial break, with our main event coming up next!

Backstage: The Opps, Jungle Jack Perry

Backstage, we hear from The Opps as Samoa Joe looks ahead to the future after a rough night at WrestleDream. This is interrupted by Jack Perry, who calls Joe out for another match. Joe lets him know he’ll think on it before walking away, and Dynamite rolls on.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Ilja Dragunov

Back at ringside, “Speedball” Mike Bailey makes his entrance for our main event. We hear a little bit about the history Bailey has with Ilja Dragunov, who makes his entrance next to a nice pop from the crowd for his in-ring debut as this match gets underway!

The pop for Dragunov gets even bigger as the bell rings, and the two go at it with Ilja taking Bailey to the corner…only for Speedball to dodge the big chop coming his way. The two lock up as we get dueling chants for both competitors, and Dragunov takes Bailey down with a single leg. Mike fights back for a one count, but Ilja is quick to get back on his feet.

Bailey sent to the ropes where he fights back with a handspring, only for Dragunov to dodge it. He goes to the corner, where he takes Speedball with a leaping kick sending Bailey to the mat hard. Bailey breaks out of a powerbomb attempt before they trade kicks, leading to a German suplex by Dragunov who keeps the hold in tight. Bailey breaks free again, forcing Ilja out of the ring for a moonsault to the floor. Dragunov is propped up on the ring steps, but dodges a kick that forces Bailey’s foot to collide with the steps intead!

He connects with a release German suplex sending Speedball hard to the floor as we go to ad break.

We get a replay of a big stomp by Dragunov as we come back from break, but Bailey is able to fight back with a kick sending Ilja to the mat. Speedball is also recovering as they both get back to their feet. Bailey lands some kicks taking Dragunov back to the mat, where he lands a shooting star press for two…and transitions to a cross arm breaker! Dragunov tries to break free as Bailey transitions to a triangle hold, but Ilja finds a counter for a single leg crab.

Speedball kicks his way out of the hold but is met with some hard strikes by Dragunov, who lands several German suplexes while keeping his grip tight. Bailey finally manages to escape, but gets caught with a tiger suplex that gets Ilja a two count…and he quickly goes up top for a diving senton for another nearfall! The fight heads to the apron, where Bailey manages to break free for a Ultima Weapon that drives his knees into the chest of Dragunov on the hardest part of the ring!

Ilja rolls back into the ring as the ref begins the count, with Bailey struggling to get back up. He finally does and climbs the turnbuckle, but Dragunov intercepts him as he lays in some hard strikes. Mike fights back and they trade blows…until Dragunov takes Speedball to the canvas with a superplex! Ilja looks for what he now calls the D-Bomb but gets caught with a kick and a cradle for two by Bailey, who follows up with a straightjacket cover for another nearfall.

Dragunov catches Speedball with a spinning chop, wearing Bailey down as he fires himself up…only to walk into a Crane Kick by Speedball! Ilja in the corner now as Bailey sets up for a spinning roundhouse kick that connects…but Omega Weapon doesn’t pan out as Dragunov takes him off. He lands a D-Bomb and then connects with a second for good measure to pick up the win in his AEW debut!

Winner: Ilja Dragunov via Pinfall.

Dragunov celebrates his win amid a red glow in the arena, and commentary talks up the lineup for Collision and beyond heading into Blood and Guts as Dynamite comes to a close.
