The WWE NXT show for the week of November 3rd has been preempted to a new date of Wednesday, November 4 and 8pm EST start time based on a recent television schedule listing update on The CW’s website.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason for the move that week is due to The CW’s upcoming 2026 United States midterm election coverage on that Tuesday night and to avoid NXT having to be preempted on too many The CW networks that same night.
This would mean that NXT would be going head-to-head against AEW’s Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026 show that night.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources confirmed that NXT and AEW will be going head-to-head against each other on November 4. Alvarez reported that NXT officials were also told to “load up” their show for that night.
