Matt Hardy Reveals Jeff Hardy Might Take Some Time Off From Wrestling To Deal With Neck Injury
A recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast featured co-host Matt Hardy revealing that his brother Jeff could be taking some time off from wrestling to recover from a neck injury that he has been dealing with since October of 2025.
“It’s gonna be interesting to see what my next character is, especially if Jeff takes a little time off to try and work on his neck a little bit. That may be happening, I guess we’ll see.”
In response to joking comments from co-host Jon Alba about Jeff Hardy and his tendency to be a “stunt monkey,” Matt responded stating that Jeff wants to fix and correct the injury as much as possible.
“Well yeah, you know, it’s not necessarily that. Just that nagging, it’s been a year now since he had this bulging disc, which has been bugging him. He’s going to — I think he’s done everything he can do in his power, I think he’s maybe gonna take some time off to get it fixed up and correct it as much as possible.”
