WWE Roster Reportedly Had Left Saudi Arabia Before Latest Missile Attack In Riyadh

WWE held their Crown Jewel 2026 event on Saturday at The Venue (ANB Arena) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the lead up to the event, there were serious safety concerns over missile attacks involving the Houthis that struck the city and other areas in Saudi Arabia including the airport WWE would be using to travel in and out of the country.

The AP News reported that another missile attack took place earlier today on Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District. This attack reportedly resulted in the Riyadh Aramco building being damaged from falling debris after the Saudis had intercepted the missiles targeting the city and otehr areas in the country.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE’s roster was long gone before the attack happened. Johnson reported that there would still be some WWE staff in the city likely those helping break down the arena and production but none of those associated with the company are believed to have been affected.

Johnson reported that the majority of the WWE roster had actually flew into Bahrain and traveled from there by bus into Riyadh. Johnson also reported that the current belief is that some talents had traveled by private plane directly in and out of Riyadh but that was the exception and not the norm.
