Following the show, AEW released a digital exclusive backstage video featuring Ciampa giving his thoughts about him winning the AEW National Championship and him giving the belt the new name of “Rubie.”

“10 months in AEW, and I’m rewriting the damn playbook. You can call me the history maker. My debut here, first man ever to win a singles title in his first ever match at the company. Now, I am the first man in the history of professional wrestling to win a title on television on a damn cruise ship. Tommaso Ciampa, 10 months, TNT champion, National champion. I said it from day one. I’m the new belt collector and I’m taking every damn title until I take the world title. But this one right here, this one right here is special, and she tells me her name is Rubie. Say hello to Rubie. Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she lovely?”

Kyle Fletcher Comments on Most Valuable Advice He Has Received From Don Callis

A recent episode of the What Happened When with Tony Schiavone podcast featured Kyle Fletcher as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Fletcher’s thoughts about what has been the most valuable advice he has received from Don Callis during their time working together in AEW.

“It feels like almost every week there’s a new story or a new try this or try that. He’ll literally just send me random clips that he sees all the time

One of, I think probably the biggest takeaway that I’ve got from him is just to believe in myself. I know, I know it sounds so corny, but it’s like having someone like that who’s been in the business so long, like really, really backing you and really in your corner and helping you realize your good traits and the things that you do that work well.

I think that’s definitely the most valuable thing he’s ever given me. It’s given me that confidence. You know I think you can tell in the way that I wrestle now. You can see in the way I present myself now. I wouldn’t have that confidence if it wasn’t for Don Callis.”

Claudio Catsganoli Provides Update on His AEW Abscense Saying He’s Not Medically Cleared

Claudio Castagnoli has been absent from AEW since the October 28th Fright Night Dynamite show after being “injured” at the hands of The Cut during a brawl between The Cut and the Death Riders.

This past Friday’s 2026 League of Legends World Championship Series gaming event at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. featured Castagnoli making a special guest appearance. Castagnoli was the guest announcer for the Quarterfinals series between T1 (Doran, Oner, Faker, Peyz, & Keria) and Karmine Corp (Canna, Yike, kyeahoo, Caliste, & Busio).

During an interview with The Load-In at the event, Castagnoli gave his thoughts about him attending the event and revealed that he is not currently medically cleared to return to AEW.

“No, it’s been great. (I’m) Not medically clear right now, so I was just sitting around at home. So they asked me if I wanted to come here, see Worlds, and I’m like, yeah, definitely, 100%. I’ll be there. So what impressed me, and I had the chance to go to China for the LPL a few years ago, and then here again, it’s the passion of the fans. It’s the passion of the fans for their team, for the game, and how they show it. It’s very similar to pro wrestling. They have signs, they come early, they dress up their jerseys it’s like they show their passion and they’re proud. Proud of their heart.”
