– At last night’s FCW tapings for the September 25th episode, it was announced that FCW Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo will be out of action for a few months and the second generation star must give up the belt. A Super Eight tournament was announced for the September 25th, October 2nd and October 9th shows that were taped.
The tournament went like this:
* Damien Sandow beat Leakee
* Husky Harris beat Big E Langston
* Leo Kruger beat Percy Watson
* Dean Ambrose beat Seth Rollins
The final four – Kruger, Ambrose, Sandow & Harris – wrestled in a four-way for the October 9th show. Kruger made Sandow submit to a sleeper to become the new FCW Heavyweight Champion. Kruger is from South Africa and made his WWE developmental debut back in February of 2010.
Also at last night’s tapings, Audrey Marie defeated Aksana to become the new FCW Divas Champion. As seen lately, Aksana has moved up to a more prominent role on SmackDown.
