According to Virginia State Trooper C.R. Scally, Kurt Angle had a blood alcohol level of 0.091 when initially tested. The legal limit is 0.08. The 0.06 that Angle reported he tested came from a test later Sunday morning, this according to the state police.
Trooper C.R. Scally has stated that he observed Angle “weaving and driving down the center line” for over a half mile, pulled him over and when questioned, Angle admitted to drinking three beers. He had him perform six different sobriety tests, and noted that, “Mr. Angle’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy.” He also failed on many of the sobriety tests.
Angle was released from Warren County Jail on a $2,000 secured bond. His hearing is set for Oct. 4th in Warren County General District Court.
