— WWE has been unable to trademark the name Jack Swagger because a singer from the band Machine 22 in Minneapolis, MN uses the same name.

On a related note, WWE has been working on trademarking the name “The Network” – a name that they were going to use for the original Nexus at one point.

— Hollywood gossip sites reported this week that George Clooney has taken his relationship with former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler to the next level by introducing her to his parents. The sites report that Keibler has told friends that her and Clooney’s chemistry is “off the charts.” Clooney lashed out at a reporter this week for asking about his love life at a media event.

— The USA to Africa Pro Wrestling Mission has pushed it’s tour of the Congo in Africa from this October until February of 2012. The President of the Congo told the event promoters that he wanted to wait until February because it’s after the elections. The government are the ones funding the project and bringing the tour to Africa. The show will now take place from February 10t until February 18th.
