The Muppets To Host Halloween RAW + Saturn Update

— WWE.com announced Monday that in celebration of their first theatrical release in over a decade – Disney’s The Muppets, opening this Thanksgiving – the Muppets will step into the ring on the Oct. 31 episode of WWE Raw SuperShow.

WWE teases: “What will happen when Kermit the Frog meets The Viper? Will the Divas make Miss Piggy flip with jealousy? Will Beaker be confused for Sheamus? On Halloween, it’s time to play the music, it’s time to light the lights, because the Muppets are about to get Raw!”

— As reported earlier, former WWE star Perry Saturn is coming out of retirement for AWE’s Night of the Legends pay-per-view event on October 15 in Fisherville, Virginia. More details on the event have been released at awesomewrestlingentertainment.com, which notes that it will be broadcast on DirecTV and AGTV in the United States and Bell TV in Canada. It will also be available on internet pay-per-view. In addition to Saturn, the event will also feature Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Tammy Sytch, Amy Dumas, Gorgeous George, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Shane Douglas, Rhino, Finlay and Sonjay Dutt, among others.
