Eric Bischoff tweeted the following about the iMPACT! rating:
Ever notice how the shows that the dirt sites put over get the lowest ratings and the ones they bury get the highest? hmmmm.
As noted earlier, Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling did a 1.35 (1.4) cable rating, with 2,019,000 viewers. The ratings are the promotion’s best for the year and are especially good considering the show was up against the World Series Game 2 as well as the season finale of the Jersey Shore.
TNA President Dixie Carter tweeted the following regarding the rating:
“Two million viewers on Thursday’s IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV – our most watched episode ever!!!,” she wrote. “THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!”
