— The Newman Times-Herald profiled former WWE Star Finlay’s family this week and it was noted that his son David is planning to get into pro wrestling in Japan once he graduates from high school. David is currently a top high school wrestler.

— John Morrison will likely not be working much on the independent scene. Numerous promoters hat have looked to book Morrison have stated that he is asking around $5,000 for a wrestling appearance. It is thought that Morrison is trying to price himself out of the independent scene, as he has stated that he wants to take time off to heal up.

— The updated main events for this Saturday’s WWE Supershow at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island are CM Punk vs. The Miz vs. John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio with Mick Foley as special referee and Mark Henry vs. Big Show.

— The dark main event after last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Raleigh saw Heath Slater, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett beat down Randy Orton until Big Show made the save. Orton put Slater through a table to end the show.
