As reported earlier, Paul London and Amazing Red were scheduled to debut as a tag team at Tuesday’s iMPACT! taping, but a deal fell through on London’s side. It’s being said London wanted more money than they were willing to offer, although it should also be noted that he pulled out of some scheduled independent bookings this past weekend, citing a back injury. However, TNA officials weren’t aware of any injury when he canceled the appearance. Whatever the case may be, they were not happy with how he handled things and he is no longer expected to debut in the company.
There was talk of using several different wrestlers including Sonjay Dutt as Amazing Red’s tag partner, but based on last night’s spoilers, they’re using a wrestler already on the roster.
