Ring Of Honor backstage official Syd Eick has finished his time with the promotion. Sources say that this was a Sinclair Broadcasting decision as part of their transition from taking over the company.
Eick started with the company when it was formed by RF Video in 2002 as a way to sell VHS tapes and DVDs after ECW went out of business.
Eich was heavily involved in business decisions, bookings of arenas, paying talent and top administrative duties.
Austin Aries obviously dislikes Eick as he tweeted the following today: @ScrapDaddyAP @BookItGabe @rohcary Just heard some #GREAT news. About damn time someone got smart. #SeeYaPal #CutTheCancerOut
