» As noted earlier here on the site, Shane Douglas was backstage the WWE Smackdown/ECW tapings in his home city of Pittsburgh, PA visiting. Douglas has remained pretty low profile since leaving TNA in early 2007 and recently worked an indy show in New Jersey on March 13 against Little Guido. Douglas has plans to hold a final ECW reunion event later this year.
» Vince McMahon currently owns 60% of WWE stock, which as of last weekend, would have been worth about $478 million.
» Vince McMahon stated at the 5/1 WWE stockholders meeting that he has plans to add another weekly television show to the company’s schedule soon. McMahon pointed out how they now have TV airing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and how the only day they are missing is Wednesday. His sell for adding another weekly show on Wednesday is that in the past doing that much television would have been overexposure, but today there are so many stations and that is no longer the case and that it would get people caught up on all storylines.
