— Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett in the dark match following the WWE NXT/SD tapings in Fresno, Ca.

— According to sources, WWE officials have put the Brodus Clay gimmick on hold for now. Vince McMahon apparently feels that Clay needs to work on his in-ring style. The match between Clay and Heath Slater several weeks ago was said to have been the final straw. It should be noted that the match never aired on SmackDown due to post-production edits.
