— Jim Ross tweeted last night that WrestleMania won’t be held at Cowboys Stadium in Texas for at least the next two years. The reason for this is due to the NCAA basketball tournament. “fans clamoring for Wrestlemania to be in Cowboys Stadium are apparently unaware that do to NCAA basketball it’s not available nx 2 years.”
— The backstage feeling among WWE officials is that there are very few Superstars these days who act like and are main event talents. The source notes that the atmosphere is different than what it was 10 years ago.
In the late 1990’s, WWE had it’s top main event Superstars but then had guys like Edge, The Hardy Boyz, Eddie Guerrero and many others who weren’t booked at the top but were working hard and motivated to get there. The motivation level to move to the top just isn’t there these days.
