— During a recent interview With HollywoodLife.com, former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal was asked if he would be a part of WrestleMania 28. Shaq responded with… “Yes I’ll be there!” As we’ve been reporting, there are plans to do a match between Shaq and The Big Show.
— Vince McMahon is reportedly up to more last minute changes than usual at this time of year. Sources say that last night’s Chris Jericho injury angle was a last minute change from the original plans for WrestleMania. Word is that the original plan involved Punk and Jericho battling to WrestleMania, trying to prove who the real, “best in the world was.”
It now appears that they may take a different direction, which is unclear at this time, but would likely play off of the injury angle from last night. Sources say that the writing staff is under more stress than usual at this time of year, because of constant changes to the short and long term plans as they head into WrestleMania 28.
