More On Shane Douglas’ RAW ‘Invasion’, FCW Update, More

— Most WWE personnel had no clue that Shane Douglas was in the building last night at RAW until they read it on the Internet. The production team didn’t realize something was going on in the crowd and just based on the way they were shooting the show, the full effect of Douglas unmasking was lost on the TV audience.

Douglas unmasked during last night’s Raw, while sitting in the crowd, and tried to start a chant for “ECW” as he walked through the building, security detained him as he exited the Arena into the concourse. Extreme Reunion promoter Steve O’Neill, who was with Douglas, exited the facility at that time. Security, believing Douglas had somehow snuck in, asked to see his ticket. When he produced it, they had no choice but to let him exit. Following the stunt, Douglas flew back home to Pittsburgh.
