Despite being pulled by WWE from Friday night’s Ring of Honor TV tapings in Philadelphia, PA for HDNet, ROH has announced that Flair will still make appearances on 6/12 in Manassas, VA and on 6/13 in New York City, NY at the Hammerstein Ballroom. ROH’s official Twitter page has a backstage photo (http://twitpic.com/67ykk) from the company’s production truck of Flair announcing at last night’s TV taping that he would have to step down as ROH Ambassador due to his current WWE obligations.
Flair did end up doing an in-ring segment explaining that he would have to step down as ROH Ambassador due to his current obligations with WWE.
Many in ROH were said to be very unhappy about how it all went down.
