Going into last night’s Extreme Rules PPV, it was thought that Batista had a torn biceps muscle. That was the reason that the cage match was so short.
Today, Batista was diagnosed with torn tendon in the biceps, which appears to have happened roughly three-weeks ago.
As of right now, Batista is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to repair the tear. WWE hopes that he will miss a limited amount of time, but as of now, there is no word on exactly how much time he will miss.
Some are also speculating that there may be more to the story than just an injury.
