ROH Star Davey Richards In Car Accident

According to Puroresu Spirit, ROH Champion and one half of the NJPW Jr. Tag Team Champions Davey Richards has been involved in a car accident. Due to the accident, he will not be able to travel to Japan for the promotion’s next event, which is tomorrow.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that due to this, Davey Richards and Rocky Romero have been striped of the NJPW Jr. Tag Team titles. Unfortunately New Japan cannot hold a replacement title match on Thursday because Richards has possession of his title belt in the US.

New Japan’s next show includes IWGP Heavyweight Champion Okada’s second IWGP Title defense, Prince Devitt vs. Low-Ki for the IWGP Jr. HW Title, and Karl Anderson against Shinsuke Nakamura.
