— The live crowd at Monday’s RAW Supershow from Greensboro was said to be hot all night, with John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton and Kane getting big pops from the crowd. Vickie Guererro and John Laurinaitis were the most over heels. Fans were said to be very surprised when Brock Lesnar’s music hit – and shocked when Paul Heyman walked out instead. There was a “holy sh*t” chant and one fan who wrote in called it a mark-out moment.
— We noted before that Mason Ryan worked as Dolph Ziggler’s bodyguard over the weekend at WWE live events. Apparently they were just testing Ryan out in the new role and no decision has been made on what he will be doing on WWE TV. Ryan appeared backstage on RAW last night. He walked up on Abraham Washington, Rosa Mendes, Epico and Primo as they watched Kofi Kingston vs. Ziggler on a monitor.
— WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper wrote the following on Twitter about never needing a title to get over:
“(1) Last time I was on Smackdown,WWE said Piper never was the WWE champ.I asked why do U keep playing that card. Cause thats all they have.”
“(2) Truth.Roddy Piper never need a belt to get over. It’s business.I have a They Live belt. Nobody has that! I was the 1st!The Rock’s great.”
