TNA Knockout Awesome Kong Injured, Christy, Traci, Nash, More

TNA’s debut in Wilson, North Carolina drew a sellout crowd of 1,300 fans.

Christy Hemme, as well as Awesome Kong, have been pulled off TNA’s tour of Europe later this month. TNA Knockouts Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, ODB, and Taylor Wilde will take their place on the tour. Kong was featured on the poster for the tour. The TNA Women’s Knockout Champion was scheduled to appear at yesterday’s WSU (Women Superstars Uncensored) double-DVD taping in Boonton, NJ, but was unable to make the event due to injuries. Kong was set to team up with Amy Lee in a WSU Tag Team Championships match against The Beatdown Betties (Annie Social & Roxxie Cotton). Lee got on the microphone and made it clear that she wasn’t happy with Kong’s disrespect for her by not showing up despite being hurt. Lee said she had a back-up plan and brought out TNA Knockout Taylor Wilde. Wilde & Lee won the titles in less than three minutes. Earlier in the day, Wilde was at the K&S Wrestlefest convention and telling people that Awesome Kong was hurt and taking time off soon.
