According to CTPost.com, Linda McMahon has agreed to two televised debates against top Republican opponent Chris Shays this month. Shays’s campaign requested five before the August primary election, but McMahon was only willing to commit to two. The first debate will take place on June 14th at UCONN and will be televised on the Hartford Fox affiliate. The second debate is scheduled for July 18 at the NBC Connecticut affiliate in West Hartford.
Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon claims she was unaware of WWE issuing legal threats to Connecticut news outlets. McMahon told reporters she just read about it in her daily press clippings on Wednesday, and notes that all questions on the subject should be sent to WWE. She also stated the following…
“It’s not a distraction for me because I’m really focused on what I’m doing. That’s all the WWE. I’m focused on, like today, this jobs tour. We’re going to tour 20 jobs before the end of the week.”
