— Linda McMahon’s campaign has responded to a complaint to the Federal Election Commission by a columnist in the Journal Inquirer regarding a legal threat made against him for likening WWE to pornography. Michael Toner, a former FEC chairman who has been hired by McMahon’s campaign, called the complaint against WWE “frivolous” and “utterly baseless.”

Toner’s reply to the complaint red as follows: “If the FEC names the McMahon campaign as a respondent in this matter, the campaign looks forward to filing a response and having the FEC promptly dismiss the complaint.”
