— Sidelined SmackDown Superstar Mark Henry stated during an interview this week that he’s going to London, England to watch the 2012 Summer Olympics kicking off next Sunday. Henry was on the U.S. team in 1992 and 1996 as a weightlifter. He participated in the 1992 and 1996 Games as a member of the United States weightlifting team.

— Friday night, Richie Steamboat became the new FCW World Heavyweight Champion. He defeated Rick Victor, who won the title over a month ago.

— FCW star Xavier Woods is currently traveling with the stars of SmackDown on this weekend’s house show schedule. Roman Leakee appeared on Friday night’s SmackDown house show, defeating Curt Hawkins.

— The WWE roster is expected to give the younger talent more time on house shows in the future.
