Following the bout, Sam Shaw beat independent wrestler CJ O’Doyle in a dark match. Nicknamed “The Irish Lionheart,” O’Doyle primarily competes for World Xtreme Wrestling.
As noted earlier, two “Bound For Glory Series” matches were held at Friday’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING World Tour event in Enid, Oklahoma as James Storm defeated Christopher Daniels and Jeff Hardy beat “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero to respectively earn seven points. With the victory, Storm widened his first-place lead to 59 points. He is trailed by Samoa Joe (47 points) and Kurt Angle (41 points).
— TNA Wrestling executive producer Eric Bischoff has voiced his support for Gail Kim. When asked on Twitter to give his thoughts on the accomplished wrestler, he responded, “She’s talented, professional and hot! Great combo!”
