More On WWE Phasing Out FCW, JR Praises Austin/Punk, More

— The official FCW Twitter account has changed their handle to @NXTWrestling. This is being done due to WWE rebranding “Florida Championship Wrestling” into “NXT”. They are in the process of phasing out all references to FCW and “Florida Championship Wrestling”.

— WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross tweeted that he “thoroughly enjoyed” doing a sit down interview with both Steve Austin and CM Punk yesterday. The interview was done for the new WWE ’13 video game. Ross tweeted the following regarding the interview: “It was respectfully combative. A classic.”

— In a match on this week’s WWE SmackDown telecast, Eve Torres defeated Kaitlyn on Friday’s SmackDown to become General Manager Booker T’s new assistant.
