— In an update from our earlier reports, we can now confirm that the 2013 WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view will take place at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. There had been a lot of talk that WWE would be taking next year’s SummerSlam to Madison Square Garden in New York City. The issue with that is the arena is currently undergoing major renovations and there are more planned for right around the time of SummerSlam next year. Once renovations are complete, you can expect WWE to bring SummerSlam to New York City.
