The reason that last year’s WrestleMania was more expensive to produce was due to the fact that WWE had to build temporary locker rooms for the talent, as well as had to make many improvements to the Citrus Bowl to make it look good for TV. This was referenced many times during WWE’s conference call today about their financial performance.

On yesterday’s edition of Sports Nation, on ESPN, the question was asked, “Does Jeremy Piven know anything about WWE?” Michelle Beadle, the co-host, discussed the poor reviews the show received and the “Summerfest” mistake. They then showed footage of the show, which wasn’t from the USA Network, but instead was a low resolution version from Sky Sports in the UK.

Ken Anderson will appear for Nu-Wrestling Evolution in Europe from September 24th through October 3rd. The shows will be in France and Malta.

Slam Wrestling interviewed Superstar Billy Graham, discussing the recent sales of his WWE Hall of Fame Ring and jacket he wore to the event. Graham was insulted because Vince McMahon wont build an actual hall of fame, and that the ring then meant nothing to him.
