Early WWE SD Rating Is In, Lawler Talks Punk Attack & More

— Friday’s episode of SmackDown drew2,587,000 viewers. That number is down slightly from the previous week’s 2,612,000 and is the lowest viewership in a month. The final rating will be out later this week.

— Jerry Lawler spoke with WWE.com about CM Punk’s attack on him last week on RAW. You can read it at this link. Lawler stated, “It’s a sad day when you can’t have an opinion and speak your mind. CM Punk thinks he can speak his mind. He has an opinion that he is the best in the world and he has no problem with telling that to everybody. CM Punk and I obviously had a difference in opinion. He had a way of showing me what he thought about my opinion. I’ve been thinking a lot about it, and maybe this coming Monday night, I might show Punk what I think of his opinion.”
