— Conan O’Brian had a reference to WCW on the September 3rd episode of his show. Will Forte showed up, pretending to be Ted Turner, and accused Conan of ruining his channel. “Turner” said he formed TBS to combine the great legacy of Florence Henderson & “off brand professional wresting.”
— New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference Thursday, which featured Okada signing to face the IWGP Champion on January 4th, 2013. He earned the title shot by winning the G1 Climax Tournament.
