— The WWE Classics on Demand theme for October will be “Legends of the Fall”. It will focus on Best of three falls matches and the Rise & Fall of ECW.

— Trendrr reports that last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown earned a 87,000 in social media activity. This is up 12% from last week. It ranked #1 on cable TV for the fourth time in the past five weeks.

— WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro recently posted on Twitter about his title match (where he’ll fight the winner of a pre-show battle royal) at Night of Champions, specifically Tyson Kidd and Brodus Clay who he interacted with on SmackDown.

He wrote: “Of course @KiddWWE and @BrodusClay had to team up to stand a chance against YOUR #USChampion #SmackDown. Can’t wait for #NightOfChampions to teach the winner of the pre show battleroyal a lesson. Don’t mess with the #USChampion”

Clay, Kidd, Ryback and Santino are the favorites to be entered into the battle royal, win the match and face Cesaro.
